Due to expansion we are looking for a hard-working individual for the following position: Junior Audio - Visual Support Technician (f/m) There is now an opportunity for an Audio-Visual Technician to provide in-house AV at our conferences in Germany. Based in our Dusseldorf/Cologne office the successful applicant will also provide assistance to our IT department when not covering events. The successful individual will be bright, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic aiming to become a valuable member of the AV team. Previous experience working in AV is essential and a good working knowledge of IT is desirable. They will also be prepared to travel, as this position will involve travelling in Germany and occasionally Europe. A full driving license is essential. The role will include • To oversee all AV operations in Western Germany and provide support to European events • Providing IT support and administration to all staff, locally and remotely • On site IT support at European Summits • A basic knowledge of networking • Supporting various operating systems, particularly Windows 98/2000/XP • Knowledge of Office applications The successful applicant will have a good understanding of AV and IT with an aptitude and desire to learn. A German speaker with a good standard of spoken and written English is essential; any additional European languages would be highly beneficial.
